Dr. Maragiannis´s research has been in the field of echocardiography and cardiac MRI. He has developed method for the evaluation of bioprosthetic aortic valve function using cardiac MRI. He has successfully applied echocardiographic methodology in 3D printed patient specific models of aortic stenosis. He has authored or co-authored manuscripts in peer reviewed journals and has contributed to book chapters.
